In the summer and autumn of 2022, a multi-disciplinary creative arts projectwas delivered, thanks to funding from Arts Council England (supported usingpublic funding by the National Lottery) and Wirral Council.Working with creative artists based in Wirral Libraries, the Williamson Art Gallery& Museum and online, new writers attended creative writing workshops and weresupported to write a short story using Wirral as the theme and inspiration.Following on from this, these new writers attended creative illustration workshopsto create a visual response to accompany their written pieces of work.Their stories and artwork are now contained within the “Made in Wirral” anthology
