A BBC journalist whose patch covered Rochdale, has died. Jonathan Ali worked for BBC Radio Manchester for 26 years. The 50-year-old had been ill with a rare type of bone and tissue cancer called Ewing Sarcoma, and died at the Christie Hospital, Manchester.
