This story tells how Stanley Birdbaum finally gets his dream to take the class pet home for the weekend. Playing with Figgy in his cage is fun, but Larry Finchfeather thinks the bird needs some exercise. Figgy flies out of the window, leaving Stanley with the tricky situation of having to break the news to his class at school the next day.
